Our Mission

The MMSFoundation seeks to contribute to the national development of Jamaica by investing in children and youth through education and sports-based projects.

Our Story

The MMS Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Manpower and Maintenance Services Ltd. Established in 2003 , the Foundation is the embodiment of the organization’s commitment to develop an empowered Jamaican workforce that will spur national development. It partners with private and public sector entities to develop and implement projects that focus on education and sports.

Our Inspiration

Improving Lives Through Education

The power of education to positively transform life paths and lay the foundation for personal and national success is widely known. The Foundation provides support to children and youths to access and fully maximize educational opportunities through the provision of grants, scholarships and internships.

The Foundation also aids the transition process of youth into the world of work through its mentorship programme. Here MMS employees volunteer as mentors to encourage and provide guidance.

Sport Development

Participation in sport activities not only builds good health and physical stamina, but also provides opportunities for persons to develop the strong mental and interpersonal skills they need to succeed in life and in business. The Foundation is proud to support team sports in communities as it is a proven avenue, for young people in particular, to develop the values and attitudes needed to improve themselves, their communities and the wider nation.
